Austin B. Pastore Greencastle, PA Austin B. Pastore, 28, of Greencastle, passed away Saturday (March 4, 2023) at Hershey Medical Center, as a result of injuries related to an automobile accident on October 28, 2021. Born January 23, 1995 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Stephen M. and Allison I. (Matson) Pastore. Austin graduated from James Buchanan High School, Mercersburg, PA with the Class of 2014. In his early years, Austin worked at Talhem’s Gas Station. At the time of the accident, he was working for New Directions Utilities, Inc., Hagerstown, MD. He was a member of Frank L. Carbaugh American Legion Post #373, Greencastle and enjoyed motorcycles, guns, diesel trucks and RC cars. Austin was a very caring and compassionate young man. He was always there to help anyone in need. He was loved by many friends and family and also people who followed his Facebook page, Prayers and Updates for Austin. The family appreciated all of their love and support. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Chad Wolff of Clarksburg, WV and Dusty Wolff of Greencastle; his paternal grandparents, Frank and Judy Pastore of Allegany, NY; his very special Aunt Karen Sheffield; 10 nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lester and Pauline Matson. Visitation was observed the evening before, with the service on Saturday March 11, 2023 in Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, Greencastle. Pastor Gay...

Olean, NY June C. Kamler, a resident of The Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Olean, passed away peacefully Sunday (June 12, 2016). Born June 2, 1920 in Machias she was a daughter of Edson and Emma Chaffee. On June 2, 1941 in Olean, she married E. Harold Kamler who predeceased her September 16, 1985. Mrs. Kamler spent her life bringing the love of music to children and adults in the Olean and Allegany areas through teaching them how to play the piano and organ. She also played the organ at many of the churches in Olean and Allegany. In addition to her love of playing the piano and organ, she enjoyed her family home at Cuba Lake and also doing needlework, knitting and reading. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church. Surviving are 2 daughters Kay F. Molenda of Olean and Judy (Frank) Pastore of Allegany; 4 grandchildren Michael (Jackie) Molenda of Salisbury, NC, Stephen (Allison) Pastore of Greencastle, PA, Tom (Kristeen) Pastore of West Palm Beach, FL, Anne Marie (Brian) Golley of Greenhurst; 10 great grandchildren Brittany, Bailey and Michael Molenda, Austin Pastore, Mia, Ella, Thomas and Michael Pastore and Gavin and Matthew Golley. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a daughter Paula Kamler on October 28, 1969 and 3 sisters Edith Factor, Lucille Bradley and Jane Vance.
